With all the excitement surrounding Lil Wayne, being released from prison, the fast selling out tour, and the soon to be released Carter IV, unfavorable events may have their face in the form of rumors of a European leg of the I Am Music II tour being stifled.
Earlier news circulated that European fans may possibly never get the chance to see the I Am Still Music tour, due to Weezy’s visa application denial. by t he Border Agency denied his application based on criminal history. However the following statement was issued by Wanye’s management clarifying the speculation on any forthcoming Euro tour stops or any legal roadblocks coincideing with concerts across the Atlantic:
“No visa was ever filed, nor were there any tour dates announced or tickets sold. Lil Wayne is currently headlining his I Am Still Music Tour across the US and Canada with plans to extend the tour through North America this summer. We hope to bring the I Am Still Music Tour to the UK in the later half of the year.”
|In the past Visa troubles have in fact plagued Snoop Dogg, who was banned from the UK after an incident at London’s Heathrow Airport and Busta Rhymes, after a weapons possession charge in The States.|
