Shoe Game: Jay-Z Reveals Custom “Brooklyn Zoo” Jordans

One of the (many) perks of being Jay-Z is the ability to get luxury customized Air Jordans (of which only 10 pairs were made TOTAL), before they are even released to the public.

Jay posted a pic of the enviable kicks on his Life + Times blog, with the caption, “Condos in my condo,” causing millions of sneaker-heads around the world to pass out simultaneously.

Called the “Brooklyn Zoo,” the kicks are the latest offering from PMK (Perfectly Made Kicks), and are handmade out of elephant, ostrich, python, boa, crocodile, lizard, alligator, suede, and sting ray (pretty much the entire food chain).  PMK provides a further description via their website:

Perfectly Made Kicks aka PMK Customs has proven their extraordinary design acumen and fearless nature with the worlds first hand reconstructed exotic bespoke Jordan 1.

The Brooklyn Zoo Jordan 1 was cut from the concept of how the original Jordan 1′s game changing controversial model was banned from the game for its individual style at the time of its debut. The Brooklyn Zoo bespoke Jordan embodies the metaphoric nature of diamonds being made in the rough. This hand made piece of art was made for the few that become King in a environment where most struggle to survive and where only the bold become Legends by fearless, calculated, predator focus and drive.

The Brooklyn Zoo 1′s cannot be tamed with an elaborate combination of Elephant, Ostrich, Python, Boa, Crocodile, Lizard, Alligator, Suede, and Sting Ray intricately cut to transform the Jordan 1 from a basketball sneaker into the worlds most daring and dapper sneaker concepts known to man.

There will on be 10 of these made in the world.

Jay-Z may have his kicks on the throne already, but 9 other people will be able to cop theirs when the shoe is released to the public on November 7th.
